Barrio Playa Brava presenta su planificación para el año 2024
- El objetivo principal de este programa es mejorar la oferta comercial y el entorno urbano de Playa Brava mediante el trabajo asociativo entre los pequeños negocios que los conforman.
En el marco de la segunda fase de ejecución del programa de Sercotec, el barrio comercial Playa Brava lanzó su planificación para el año 2024.
Durante la firma del contrato de continuidad, los locatarios de Iquique expusieron sus metas para este año ante las autoridades regionales, comunales y socios estratégicos. Los objetivos incluyen fortalecer la asociatividad, consolidar la identidad del barrio, recuperar espacios públicos y aprender de experiencias de barrios comerciales rurales.
En el conversatorio de lanzamiento de los hitos de Playa Brava realizado este martes en el local “Jardín del Jolgorio”, Gabriel Díaz, presidente del barrio, explicó que para el año 2024 tienen planes de realizar eventos que beneficiarán a toda la comunidad, enfocándose en potenciar el turismo, la gastronomía, activaciones comerciales y culturales. “Buscamos fortalecer la identidad del barrio, recuperar espacios públicos, potenciar la vinculación con vecinos y visitantes, paisajismo, iluminación, intervenciones culturales y aumentar el número de socios que actualmente alcanza los 15”.
El Delegado Presidencial de Tarapacá, Daniel Quinteros, subrayó la importancia de este programa y destacó que “impulsa la organización de los locatarios para crear una identidad común y atraer más visitantes, generando así una reactivación económica en la región que es lo que buscamos como gobierno liderado por el Presidente Gabriel Boric, quien ha priorizado este programa de Sercotec”.
Camila Castillo, Delegada Presidencial Provincial del Tamarugal, resaltó la relevancia del programa para el desarrollo económico, haciendo hincapié en la importancia de la asociatividad. “Nos hemos comprometido a apoyar lo que sea necesario para focalizar intervenciones de otros ministerios en el barrio comercial para potenciar su desarrollo”.
Guillermo Vicentelo, director de Sercotec, explicó que “en esta segunda etapa buscamos financiar actividades que impulsen un modelo de desarrollo sostenible en el barrio comercial. Para ello, es crucial la articulación público-privada”. Finalmente agradeció el apoyo de diversas entidades, destacando la colaboración de la Delegación Presidencial de Tarapacá, la Delegación Provincial del Tamarugal, las Seremías de Economía, Energía, Deportes, Sernatur, la Subsecretaría de Prevención del Delito, las municipalidades de Pica e Iquique, Carabineros y los Centros de Negocios del Tamarugal e Iquique Sur.
En ambas jornadas de trabajo, la Coordinadora Regional de la Subsecretaría de Prevención del Delito, Ana María Peralta, presentó el plan «Comercio Amigo», una iniciativa que busca desarrollar estrategias para mejorar las condiciones de seguridad en los espacios comerciales, capacitando a los locatarios en medidas de prevención y seguridad.
INVERSIÓN
El programa, inspirado en experiencias internacionales exitosas, como las de Inglaterra, Estados Unidos, Canadá y España, proporciona un subsidio anual promedio de 20 millones de pesos para cada barrio beneficiario, junto con la asistencia técnica en terreno de un gestor (a) que acompaña a los locatarios durante los tres años de ejecución del proyecto asociativo.
